Why Running is Good for You

Running is hard. You’ll be tired and exhausted. But why do you have to do it?

Our body is built for being active. Our skin is elastic so it won’t break when we stretch. Our bones are strong enough to endure the impact of movement we do. Each bones are connected by different types of joint that enable us to do move around without problem.

When you start moving, your heart pumps blood faster to deliver oxygen to your organs. The more intense your movement, the harder your body will work. It’s not just your heart. Your whole metabolic system will move faster, so that you will experience the rising of body temperature and also, sweating.

So is it good?

Running can Burn Excess Fat

You must be familiar with the word “calories” if you are mindful about your weight.

Calories is a measure of energy. You get the calories from the foods and drinks that you consume. Every activity that you do will consume those calories. The more intense your activity, the more it will use any calories stored in your body, including fat.

Probably this is the most popular way to lose weight. It is also well known as a cardio exercise. If you run a lot, then your whole system will move faster. Then some portion of body fat will be turned into calories to give your organs some energy. Basically, running will make your body consume more excess fat at faster rates.
